Agriculture Minister Discusses Removing Barriers to Agricultural Trade with Spain

Alaa Farouk, Minister of Agriculture and Land Reclamation, held an extensive bilateral meeting with his Spanish counterpart, Luis Planas, Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Food, on the sidelines of the "Fruit Attraction" exhibition in Madrid.
The meeting aimed to explore ways to strengthen the agricultural partnership between the two nations and open new avenues for investment and trade.
Farouk expressed his appreciation for the invitation to attend the opening of "Fruit Attraction", emphasizing its importance as a global platform for showcasing agricultural technology. He highlighted the progress in Egyptian-Spanish relations and his interest in expanding cooperation.
The Minister noted the potential of Spanish expertise in supporting Egypt’s food security and agricultural production. The discussion also covered:
