Arkansas Agriculture Hall of Fame seeks nominations for Class XXXIX
The Arkansas Agriculture Hall of Fame seeks nominations by November 1 from the public for its next class of inductees. The Hall of Fame recognizes Arkansans who have made significant contributions to the state’s agriculture industry and its economic development. Since its inception in 1987, 204 individuals have been inducted.
Debbie Moreland, chair of the Arkansas Agriculture Hall of Fame, encourages everyone to nominate individuals they believe worthy of this honor. “The Arkansas Agriculture Hall of Fame was established to honor men and women who have played pivotal roles in strengthening agriculture across the Natural State,” said Moreland.
The nomination form is available online or by calling 501-228-1609. The form allows space for detailed justification of a candidate’s nomination, a summary of their contributions to agriculture and their community, their professional experiences, and involvement in public service supporting agriculture.
The induction ceremony for the next class will be held on Thursday, March 4, 2027, at the Statehouse Convention Center in Little Rock.
