Sen. George Borrello, Ranking Member of the Senate Agriculture Committee, and Sen. Patrick Gallivan gathered farmers and agricultural leaders from Wyoming, Genesee, and Erie counties for a roundtable, hosted by Hans Boxler of Boxler Farms.
"Agriculture is one of New York’s most important industries... yet even in the best of times, farming is a difficult business," noted Senator Borrello.
Senator Gallivan added: "The agriculture industry... directly and indirectly employs thousands. As we prepare for a new legislative session, it is essential to hear from farmers..."
