College Station principal gets statewide recognition from agriculture teachers

School STATION, Texas (KBTX) – A college Station ISD Principal is getting some statewide recognition.

Former College Station Highschool Assistant Principal Chris Southard was a current recipient of A strong School Administrator Award from the Agriculture Teachers Affiliation of Texas. Southard was promoted to Principal at Spring Creek Elementary earlier this month.

The association presents awards To acknowledge members and assisters Who’ve proven excellent assist to Texas agriculture science and FFA packages. Southard was nominated by CSHS agricultural science teachers Sheridan Clinkscales, Rodney Martine and Erin Stutts.

“Mr. Southard is an lively participant in our FFA actions,” the nomination letter states. “He is A daily customer to our lecture rooms and he is Aware of our college students on A primary-identify basis and contributes to actions Occurring in our rooms. Supporting teachers and packages is Mr. Southard’s power.”
