Commissioner Sid Miller Declares Agricultural Emergency in Response to Tropical Storm Edouard

Texas agriculture officials have taken a significant step to prepare for the potential impacts of Tropical Storm Edouard.

"In light of the storm’s trajectory and anticipated strength, I am declaring a state of agricultural emergency," said Commissioner Sid Miller of the Texas Department of Agriculture. This declaration activates additional resources and expedites preparations to protect Texas farms, ranches, and agritourism businesses.
