County Department of Agriculture Launches ‘Locally Grown Healthy Food for Kupuna’ Program

Maui County (.gov) is set to introduce a new initiative aimed at promoting healthy eating among the elderly population.

"We are excited to announce the upcoming launch of our ‘Locally Grown Healthy Food for Kupuna’ program," stated a representative from the County Department of Agriculture. "This program emphasizes the importance of providing nutritious, locally sourced food to our kupuna (senior citizens) and fostering a stronger connection to our island’s agricultural heritage."
