Dale County Farm-City Events Celebrate Agriculture
By Phillip Jordan
The Dale County Farm-City Committee is preparing for several events this fall as part of its annual celebration of agriculture and the connection between rural farmers and city communities. This year’s theme is "America’s 250: Founded by Farmers," tying the celebration to the nation’s 250th anniversary.
Dale County Farm-City Week
Dale County Farm-City Week will be observed November 20-26. The Farm-City program, active since 1955, aims to enhance understanding between agriculture and urban communities by highlighting food production processes.
