BISMARCK, ND (KXNET) — Longtime North Dakota Agriculture Commissioner Doug Goehring, a Republican, is seeking another term in Tuesday’s election.
Goehring, an active farmer, has been serving as ag commissioner since 2009. He has centered his campaign on his agricultural experience and takes pride in North Dakota’s diverse crop and livestock industries.
"From day one, since I stepped into the office, it seems like we’ve had issues, catastrophes, disasters," Goehring noted, emphasizing the need for steady management during many industry challenges.
