Changes Made to Hortica Board of Directors
Hortica has announced changes to its board of directors:

Hortica board chairman Jim Leider has announced his retirement effective February 21, 2012. The board elected Cornelis (Cees) Boonman as the new chairman and Randy Tagawa to the position of vice chairman.
Leider, president of Leider Horticultural Cos. in Buffalo Grove, Ill., has been on the Hortica board since February 1982. Boonman is president of Ball Seed, a division of Ball Horticultural Co. in West Chicago, Ill., and Tagawa is CEO of Tagawa Greenhouse Enterprises in Brighton, Colo.
Lindley Mann has retired from Hortica’s board after 36 years of service, and John Smith Jr. retired after serving for 6 years. The board now has a full complement of 10 directors.
