Four SAU students earn state Department of Agriculture scholarships – Magnoliareporter


The Arkansas Division of Agriculture recently awarded $20,000 in scholarships to eight scholars attending Arkansas universities with agricultural packages.

The schools embrace Arkansas State College, Southern Arkansas College, the College of Arkansas, and Arkansas Tech College.

The scholarship recipients embrace The subsequent scholars:

Brieanna Shaw, Pine Bluff, Agriculture Science Primary

Courtland Mixon, Prescott, Agriculture Science Primary

Hannah Boyte, Oak Grove, Agriculture Science Primary

Hannah Helms, Gurdon, Agriculture Enterprise Primary

Arkansas State College

Jacob Holloway, Griffithville, Agribusiness – Agriculture Economics and Finance Primary

Landon G. Smith, Jacksonport, Agribusiness – Agriculture Economics and Finance Primary

Arkansas Tech College

Cheyenne Massey, Hartford, Agricultural Education Primary

College of Arkansas

Kelby Biswell, Prairie Grove, Horticulture, Panorama, and Turf Sciences and Agricultural Education Primary

Funding for the scholarships comes from civil penalties collected by the Arkansas Division of Agriculture. Every institution receives $5,000 yearly and has its personal course of For choosing the scholarship recipients and the portions awarded To each scholar.
