Applications Open for 2027 Community Supported Agriculture Grants
The Agency of Agriculture, Food & Markets (VAAFM) is offering CSA Grants to provide local food to early learners through Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) shares. This grant program is open to non-profit organizations located in Vermont and licensed or registered early childhood education providers.
They encourage partnerships between individual early childhood education providers to maximize the impact of the grants. Each early childhood program involved in a project must submit a letter of commitment, as well as a farm partner who can provide CSA shares.
$150,000 is available for awards, with limits based on each program's licensed capacity. Applicants will be notified of decisions in February 2027, and projects will run from March/April 2027 to December 2027.
An optional applicant webinar will be held on Wednesday, October 7th from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM for prospective applicants. The application deadline is November 12 at 1:59 PM.
