MDARD, DNR Expand “Don’t Move Firewood” Campaign Ahead of Labor Day Weekend

The State of Michigan (Michigan.gov) is taking steps to prevent the spread of invasive insects and diseases by expanding their "Don’t Move Firewood" campaign ahead of Labor Day Weekend.

Remember that, moving firewood from one area to another can introduce harmful pests to new environments. The Michigan Department of Natural Resources (DNR) is urging residents and visitors to take a dive into the importance of this initiative.
