Nick Smith Agriculture Scholarship established at UT Martin – Murray Ledger and Times


MARTIN, Tenn. – First Selection Farm and Backyard of Union Metropolis, in partnership with Kubota Tractor Company, has established the Nick Smith Agriculture Scholarship Endowment On the College of Tennessee at Martin in reminiscence of Nicholas “Nick” Doyle Smith, of Golo, Kentucky. Smith, a farmer and enterpriseman, handed away April 16, 2022. 

Ron and Don Parks, UT Martin alumni and co-house owners of First Selection Farm and Backyard, Collectively with their group, established this scholarship endowment to thank Smith for The numerous contributions he and his household have made to the enterprise By way of the yrs. The Parks’ objective for establishing this scholarship is to pay it forward and open doorways for UT Martin college students Very Similar to Smith did all through his life for others.
