Boone County and Ogle County Farm Strolls Announce October Lineups
Northern Illinois Fall Traditions Return
Sunday, October 4, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.:
The Boone County Farm Stroll invites you to explore multiple family-owned farms throughout the county at your own pace. There's no official starting point; choose which farms to visit and create your own route. Many farms offer demonstrations, activities, and products for purchase. This year's stroll showcases local agriculture, from livestock and specialty crops to fiber arts, homesteading, and conservation practices. Held rain or shine, dress appropriately and bring cash for farm-fresh goods.

The Ogle County Farm Stroll features a diverse lineup of farms, each offering insights into local agriculture. Learn about livestock care, crop production, conservation efforts, and specialty farm operations. Visit as many farms as you wish and interact directly with farmers.
