PepsiCo is using AI and regenerative agriculture to help build a stronger, more resilient farming ecosystem. By combining technology with strong agronomy, we support farmers in:
- Improving soil health
- Efficiently using resources
- Building greater resilience
We work with specialized ag-tech providers like AgroScout, CropX, and Grimme to equip farmers worldwide with practical tools and insights.
Take a dive into a specific example of our efforts on the Perry Family Farm in southern Alberta, Canada. Since 1909, this fourth-generation farm has been growing potatoes for Lay’s potato chips. PepsiCo is collaborating with them to strengthen the farm's long-term resilience and support the next generation of farmers.
In the latest episode of Made Possible, Dr. Athina Kanioura, PepsiCo CEO, Latin America Foods and global chief strategy & transformation officer, and Jim Andrew, PepsiCo executive vice president and chief sustainability officer, discuss how AI and regenerative agriculture help farmers identify risks early, respond swiftly, and act with precision.
This video is part of the “Made Possible" series from Fast Company, produced in partnership with PepsiCo.
