Purdue workshop offered for veterans in agriculture – Purdue News Service

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. — Indiana AgrAbility, hosted at Purdue College, Purdue Extension and the Farmer Veteran Coalition-Indiana chapter, are internet hosting a Northwest Indiana Veteran Farmer Workshop at Pinney Purdue Agricultural Center, 11402 S. County Line Road, in Wanatah, Indiana.

Veterans Considering about studying extra about agriculture and potential or current Indiana AgVets are invited to community By way of the Sept. 14 workshop from 10 a.m. To three p.m. (CT). Subjects will embrace:

  • Overview and tour of Pinney Purdue Agricultural Center
  • Greenhouse and vegetable manufacturing enterprises
  • Farmers market alternatives
  • Extreme-tunnel manufacturing
  • Direct advertising and entrepreneurship
  • Farmer Veteran Coalition packages and alternatives
  • Indiana AgVets Certification and Internship Program
