Secretary Rollins Congratulates Agricultural Leaders
U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Brooke Rollins expressed her support and congratulations to Undersecretary for Trade and Foreign Agricultural Affairs Luke Lindberg for his appointment as Executive Director of the United Nations World Food Programme. She also congratulated Greg Ibach, who was nominated by President Donald Trump to serve as the next Undersecretary for Trade and Foreign Agricultural Affairs.
Rollins stated:
"Luke Lindberg has been a tremendous friend and partner in our mission to deliver for America’s farmers and ranchers. With his help, the Trump administration had cut the agricultural trade deficit by 51 percent, helped deliver $177 billion in U.S. agricultural exports, expanded markets through 20 new trade agreements and frameworks, and secured billions of dollars in new agricultural purchase commitments around the world."
She further went on to praise Greg Ibach, a lifelong producer and proven leader:
"I’m thrilled President Donald Trump has nominated Greg Ibach to serve as our next Undersecretary for Trade and Foreign Agricultural Affairs."
