The Governor Signs Executive Order Aimed at Keeping Missouri Agriculture Moving with Fall Harvest

Missouri’s governor has signed an executive order declaring a state of emergency, citing rising input costs such as fertilizer and diesel fuel. Governor Mike Kehoe’s executive order notes agriculture is Missouri’s largest industry . He says Missouri’s farmers are working hard to bring in this fall’s harvest while facing higher costs at every turn.

Governor Kehoe’s executive order authorizes a temporary suspension of motor vehicle fuel restrictions and a temporary increase in agricultural allowable weight limitations.
