Tractor Supply Company (NASDAQ: TSCO), the largest rural lifestyle retailer in the United States, is proud to announce that its fifth annual FFA Future Leaders fundraiser raised over $1 million. This achievement marks a significant milestone in the company's 41-year partnership with Future Farmers of America (FFA), dedicated to supporting America's future ag leaders.

A Partnership for the Future

Since partnering with FFA in 1985, Tractor Supply has contributed a substantial $27 million to scholarships, grants, educational experiences, and other programs. The FFA Future Leaders initiative, launched in 2022, plays a crucial role in this partnership, offering:

  • $5,000 scholarships for students in two-year programs or trade schools
  • $10,000 scholarships for students pursuing higher education

These scholarships provide much-needed financial support, enabling students to focus on leadership, service, and hands-on learning in agriculture.

Making a Difference

For Future Leaders recipient Sage Toews, the scholarship has made a tangible difference. Studying at Kansas State University, Sage has more time to engage in leadership and service opportunities, pursuing a career in food and agricultural policy. She attributes these opportunities to the scholarship, which helps alleviate the financial burden of education, allowing her to network and get involved outside of her classes.

"Scholarship opportunities help alleviate the pressing need to work long hours to support my education and, in turn, allow me to dedicate more time to leadership, involvement, and service," said Toews.

A Community Effort

Tractor Supply's success in reaching its fundraising goal is a testament to the support of customers and local communities. Every donation contributes directly to shaping the future of rural America by investing in the next generation of agriculture.

"We are beyond grateful to our customers and local communities who rallied behind these students to help us reach our goal," said Joe Fell, Vice President of Merchandise Operations at Tractor Supply and a member of the National FFA Foundation’s Sponsors' Board. "Seeing our neighbors unite to remove financial barriers for these promising young leaders reminds us just how powerful this partnership is, and we can’t wait to see the incredible impact these scholarship recipients will make."
