West Virginia State University Breaks Ground on New Agriculture Lab
West Virginia State University's campus is welcoming a new addition: a state-of-the-art agricultural laboratory. The groundbreaking ceremony, held Tuesday, signifies the beginning of a project aimed at establishing a new school of agriculture, food, and natural resources within WVSU.
"The goal is to create a facility with cutting-edge equipment, enabling our students to learn innovative techniques and drive changes in West Virginia's agricultural landscape," said University President Ericke Cage.
This $50 million project promises to revolutionize agricultural education and research in the state.
